Description Billing Auditors are responsible for the preparation and auditing of customer billing, and for accurate and timely submission of customer price increases. Responsibilities of Position: Prepare invoices for customers that have special billing requirements. Receive and respond professionally and courteously to all internal and external customer inquiries. Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve billing issues. Input all residential price increases prior to billing. Maintain instruction book with invoice presentation requirements for assigned customers. Audit Commercial Cycle Change Report and Unapplied Cash Report. Research and approve refund request, transfer payment request and process customers credits for the markets that are in excess of $1000. Serve as backup to others in the department and assist with special projects. WR1/SAP Conversion-The department will be responsible for batching all system work orders and schedule them for billing as well as audit to ensure that all work orders were batched and invoiced for the month for all Rumpke areas. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Needed for Position: Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company . Must work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team. Ability to identify issues, make, decisions, and resolve problems. Must be able to react well under pressure and treat others with respect. Must possess a professional demeanor with excellent verbal & written communication skills. Must possess excellent data entry skills with the ability to prepare and maintain accurate information. Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department, or line of business. Physical Requirements in a Regular workday: Continuous Sitting in Office Environment Additional Working Conditions/Aspects: The hours and level of responsibility may vary. Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Valid driver's license (if applicable). Must successfully complete pre-employment testing. Must be able to read and speak the English language. Qualifications Education Some college (preferred) High School (required) General Education Diploma (preferred) Experience Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, Outlook, AS400, Ipak, SAP a plus.
