**Summary: Coordinates and guides Shipping and Receiving Associates engaged in material handling operations in accordance with company policies and area-specific procedures. Lead associates to safely and efficiently perform shipping, receiving, and material movement operations that meet established productivity goals and customer requirements. Moves material throughout the facility. Communicates material movements to ERPMRP software. Processes Receiving and Shipping Documents. Conduct inventory verification processes.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Leads material handling associates. Assigns tasks and follows-up on completion.
Coordinates with other Team Leaders to accomplish inter-departmental tasks.
Reviews the shipping and receiving and production schedules to determine workflow and to ensure materials are available efficiently and safely according to the schedules. Ensures documentation to support shipping and receiving operations is completed accurately and timely.
Leads to ensure raw materials are picked and staged to support production schedules.
Leads the non-bulk shipping and receiving operations.
Assists management to ensure all work is performed according to the correct company procedure.
Ensures safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
Maintains open line of communication between employees and management by communicating with others as needed to coordinate activities of individual departments.
