We are looking for an engaged, passionate and experienced person to join our fun-loving team as a Senior Energy Engineer (Efficiency and Decarbonization). As a senior technical person in the company, you will be a strategic and tactical partner in the design, implementation, management and evaluation of energy efficiency, demand response, decarbonization projects/programs and clean energy technologies. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge of building energy efficiency, DR and carbon reduction strategies and a desire to see ideas translate into solutions. Minimum Qualifications/Skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience

  • Seven years of experience in the residential and/or commercial construction, energy efficiency, or in a relevant engineering field

  • Two years of experience as a technical lead in projects or programs

  • Two years of proven success in technical writing

  • In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial construction materials and techniques with an emphasis on building energy performance

  • Exposure to commercial and/or residential energy auditing practices, tools and protocols

  • Carbon markets, decarbonization strategies, renewable energy systems, energy storage systems literacy

  • Computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

  • In-depth knowledge of Statewide and/or National building codes and environmental standards

  • Articulate written and oral communication skills

Salary Range:

$115,000 - $130,000, DOE
