Job Title: IT Support Specialist III
Location: Chico, CA
Salary: $50k - 60k per annum
The IT Support Specialist is our go to person for advanced client projects and implementations. Installing workflow applications and providing advanced support for our clients are a regular part of the Network Technician’s Day.
The Network Technician is responsible for onsite and remote installation and support needs for our document management clients. This relates to all technology, to include workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. This is an advanced technical position, focused on workflow software and advanced document management solutions.
Responsibilities
Help Architect, implement and support MFP software applications
Support and understand Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, SharePoint, Office365, Group Policy
Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
Excellent customer service skills is must for this position
MS Windows OS / Mac OS experience and support
Print driver setup / best practices
Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, or Citrix
Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
Must have skills:
Interpersonal skills: such telephone skills, communication skills, active listening and client-care
Diagnostic skills of technical issues
Ability to plan, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Takes ownership of job responsibilities with personal pride and accountability
Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
Very strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential
Ability to take constructive feedback from Management, or Peers
Willingness to learn new processes/practices, apply them and train others
Impeccable Integrity and honesty
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree
3-5 Years in the IT field or work-related experience
A valid driver’s license and good driving record is a must
Excellent customer service skills
Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
Must be a self-starter
Must be capable of working independently
Ability to handle high stressful situations and thrive under pressure
Impeccable Integrity and honesty
Ability to take constructive feedback from Management, or Peers

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications
Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms
