Insight Global Manager, Risk & Compliance in Chicago, Illinois
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Manager, Risk & Compliance for a First Line of Defense program for a major banking client. This role supports the business/group leader in the effective implementation, maintenance, and administration of first line of defense (1st LOD) programs (e.g., operational risk, AML, compliance, regulatory, etc.), ensuring adherence and efficiency within the digital line of business. Contributes to a strong risk management culture through collaboration with other first line employees, and second & third line functions to ensure Compliance, AML, or operational risks are identified, mitigated, monitored, and reported on an ongoing basis. Key responsibilities include:
Program Management: Supports the management of 1st LOD programs for the digital business/group in compliance with appropriate principles, standards, and direction from the second line of defense groups. This includes developing, promoting, and ensuring the execution of all program components.
Implementation & Advisory: Works with assigned business/group leaders to implement 1st LOD programs and frameworks, developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the applicable regulatory and internal risk management requirements. Provides expert advice on the application of these requirements for the digital business/group.
Strategic Understanding: Develops and maintains an understanding of the digital business/group strategies and objectives, products and services, internal and external stakeholders, and business processes. Identifies and manages implications and risk exposures for the digital business/group.
Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identifies, investigates, analyzes, documents, and mitigates program risks, considering jurisdictional issues. Raises any issues or concerns to senior leaders and other stakeholders. Analyzes the impact and effectiveness of the program through periodic reviews.
Policy & Process Adjustment: Recommends adjustments to the overall program, policy, or processes within the digital business/group in accordance with the Risk Appetite Statement, Governance, and Corporate Policy. Supports the digital business/group through internal/external audits or regulatory examinations and assists in developing action plans to resolve any identified issues.
Training & Awareness: Provides support to the development and delivery of training and awareness programs within the digital business/group to increase awareness of and compliance with risk management requirements.

Skills and Requirements
6+ years of risk management experience within banking
Privacy and legal compliance experience
Experience managing a risk program
Exceptional stakeholder relationship management
Experience communicating regularly and effectively with executive stakeholders
Strong organizational skills
Notable passion for risk and desire to continuously learn Open Banking experience
Regulatory change management experience null
