Description We are offering a role for an Executive Assistant in the bustling city of Chicago, Illinois. This role primarily serves to provide support for an executive level position within our organization. The industry we operate in is fast-paced and requires someone who can handle a variety of tasks, including calendar management, scheduling, and administrative duties. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support for an executive-level position, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense processing.

• Facilitate smooth communication between the executive and other departments or individuals, through mediums such as email, text, and phone calls.

• Perform administrative duties within the office, such as phone work, ordering lunches, and organizing conference rooms.

• Navigate complex travel arrangements, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve as needed.

• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and organization in all tasks.

• Manage and coordinate event logistics, including gift sending and photo distribution.

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and other relevant software like Concur and CRM for efficient task completion.

• Handle potentially challenging situations with resilience and professionalism.

• Adapt to the executive's direct communication style and high attention to detail.

• Leverage experience in the restaurant space or event coordination, if applicable. Requirements • Proven experience as an executive assistant or relevant administrative support role

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

• Experience with Concur and About Time software is a plus

• Strong calendar management skills, with the ability to plan and schedule appointments

• Demonstrated ability to handle correspondence and documentation in a professional manner

• Comfortable working with C-Suite level executives and managing sensitive information

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of professionalism and discretion

• Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail

• Must have legal authorization to work in the location of the job.
