Actalent Electrical Engineer in Chicago, Illinois
A civil engineering firm that offers consulting, design, and construction management services is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team!
Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and project management for MEP engineering projects
Assign project tasks and provide guidance and mentoring to other staff
Lead or assist with the development of project scope, budget, and schedule
Negotiate fees and contract amendments as necessary
Collaborate with in-house engineering teams on projects requiring MEP design services
Assist the Area Manager with billing, project performance monitoring, workload forecasting, and staff utilization
Collaborate on project pursuits and develop relationships with clients and prospects
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
Illinois PE is highly preferred, open to EIT
5+ years of post-graduate experience
Electrical Engineering experience for building projects
Project management experience is a plus
Proficiency in Revit
Familiarity with SKM PowerTools, AGI-32 (or other lighting design softwares), MS Office
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or other ERP systems is desirable
Ability to travel to client or project sites as needed
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
