FIFCO USA Chain Sales Execution Manager in Chicago, Illinois

JOB SUMMARY

The Chain Sales Execution Manager leads FIFCO’s initiatives by coordinating and maintaining Regional and District call point schedules and communicating with Market Sales Managers, Trade Marketing, and Wholesaler Chain Managers. Through people management and communication skills, this role will execute and track FIFCO’s chain programs and priorities through our distribution partners. The Chain Execution Sales Manager will help wholesalers to achieve company targets and objectives in the specified chains.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain an effective call point schedule based on the assigned call book

  • Communication and tracking of chain programming to internal sales and wholesalers including execution of chain programs

  • Selling in programming created with and by Marketing and Trade Marketing as well as reviewing post promotion analysis

  • Regional/Zone Buyer meetings along with standardized meeting recaps – if no meeting is scheduled, keep open communication with email or phone

  • Manage execution as well as communicating the expectation internally and externally (wholesalers on gaps/opportunities by route/store)

  • Utilize IRI, 1010, and internal data to present accurate sales information, including working with Category Insights Team as well as educating oneself to read and pull the data

  • Develop working relationships with wholesalers, chain, and management teams

  • Utilize CRM/KARMA for surveys and as a communication tool for internal network

  • Provide direction to wholesaler and assigned FIFCO Market Sales Representative(s) to ensure execution of relevant chain and trade programming across market

  • Conduct market surveys in specified chains and analyze VIP and IRI to identify opportunities, measure execution, and hold wholesalers accountable

  • Directly engage key accounts to build relationships and execution in the market

  • Track launches of brands and programs (new POD’s / INBI) to gain focus and performance using VIP

  • Regular market visits in specified territory to help close chain gaps where needed

  • Understand market trends and how it affects our business

  • Track reset gains/losses and execution (new POD’s / INBI) to gain focus and performance using VIP

  • Help conduct quarterly retail price surveys on FIFCO and competitive products

  • Communicate competitive intel (rebate offer, new SKUs, display enhancers/loaders) to Market Sales Managers, Sales Directors, RVP, and key brand team members

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 2-3 years of sales experience

  • Beverage Alc experience is preferred

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $52,200 – 78,000/year, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
