Children's Home and Aid Accounts Receivable & Billing Manager in Chicago, Illinois

The Accounts Receivable & Billing Manager manages the organization's accounts receivable operations, including overseeing the billing process and payment collection, and resolving discrepancies. Ensures that all billing and AR activities are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational policies, contracts, and agreements. Collaborates with finance team to improve processes, ensure cash flow optimization, and support overall financial reporting.

Candidate qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or financial management required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required.

  • Experience with Sage Intacct software preferred.

  • Experience in successfully managing AR collections, billing, and cash flow in a complex environment required.

  • Experience with billing for Medicaid preferred.

  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of non-profit accounting preferred.

  • Ability to drive and access to personal vehicle preferred.

Job details:

  • Compensation: Salary Range $75k-$79k; offer is commensurate with experience. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs.   • Schedule: Full-time, salaried; regular business hours with some flexibility required for special projects.
