Job Summary:
Multiple Shifts available
Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a Host/Hostess, offering a competitive pay rate of $15.00/hr. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting patrons, managing reservations, and ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Greet patrons as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.
Escort patrons to their tables and provide menus.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about the restaurant, reservations, and menu.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the hostess stand and waiting area.
Monitor dining room activity to ensure patron satisfaction.
Handle patron complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic math skills for handling reservations and seating arrangements.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role preferred.
Must be 21 or older and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
