DUTIES :
The purpose of the position is to perform the role of an IT Specialist, Application Software Support resource. The position is also responsible for performing the daily role as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) coordinator of the EDI Systems. The Application Software Support Specialist will assist in analyzing, designing, documenting, programming, testing, and installing new Application systems or create/install modifications to existing Application Systems.
This position is also responsible for occasionally providing off-hours support for change management and participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Ensures all Applications are integrated with all modules of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
• Effectively resolves problems in a timely manner demonstrating excellent problem-solving and decision-
making skills.• Can work independently or lead small Application Projects and collaborates with assigned team members.
• Uses strong problem-solving skills and superior communication skills (email, phone, and in-person) both
verbal and written.• Become a subject matter expert for the ERP and CSC In-house Application Systems, ERP and CSC In-
house Application processes and implementation.• Maintain any updates necessary for CG CSC IT Applications specific documentation utilized for setup and
troubleshooting the ERP and CSC In-house application Systems.• Provide and monitor updates to the ERP and CSC In-house Application Systems.
• Performs operational tests on ERP and CSC In-house application Systems in test array or operational
configuration prior to issue or installation to ensure proper operation and absence of conflicts with required security settings.• Communicate with 3rd party vendors associated with the ERP.
• Executes and monitors the status of the EDI onboarding cycle of new vendors for store, warehouse, and
ecommerce drop ship business process types. Provide document life cycle support research for internal and external teams. Respond to vendor requests for routing changes and testing.• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Minimum :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a high school diploma/GED and six years of appropriate related experience. Technical Certifications may be sufficient if the person possesses extensive senior level software development and technical experience.
2 years analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing complex software applications in an enterprise/business environment. Applications consist of vendor purchased software and in house developed software utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio.
2 years of Project Management Skills with knowledge of SDLC (Structured Development Life Cycle)
2 years of experience managing and maintaining EDI processes
2 years with Microsoft SQL Server Administration or equivalent knowledge working with similar Databases.
Ability to routinely lift 30 lbs.
Preferred (in addition to the minimum):
2 years development experience with MicroStrategy Administration or other Business Intelligence tools
2 years development utilizing SharePoint
2 years of experience maintaining PCI or cyber security standards for a retail environment.
