• Development and support for IBM InfoSphere DataStage (V11.7) ETL jobs necessary to build a simplified Dealer Datamart

• Providing integrated data services by loading complex data from multiple regions and multiple applications into one simplified datamart

• Supporting data for a large number of applications and significant enterprise projects that will enable data-driven decisions to create a competitive advantage for the company

DNI needs a Software Engineer with experience in delivering ETL solutions. This is a terrific opportunity to become part of a global team, contribute to strategic Ford data & project initiatives, as well as learn various aspects of the Ford Dealer & Market Retail IT and Business processes.

• Be a part a Ford product team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, Anchor, and Software Engineers

• Work with Business teams to understand requirements for PDO Backlog features and deliver ETL solutions with high business value using Agile

• Assist with analyzing commonality in DNI datamart models and identify needs for Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)

• Contribute to the migration from mainframe ETL to DataStage ETL and the creation of a Dealer datamart

• Participate in PDO product team ceremonies such as Standups, Iteration Planning, Retrospectives, and Release Planning

5+ years ETL development and integration experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.7)

5+ years SQL development experience

Position Qualifications:

• ETL development experience with IBM DataStage v11.7

• Experience with AutoSys job scheduling

• SQL/database experience involving multiple, complex queries

• Exceptional analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships

• Experience with Linux/Unix Shell scripting and file management

• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a product team

• Strong written/oral communication skills

• Strong drive for results and ability to work independently

• Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing

• Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in extract, transform and load (

• Knowledge in IBM Cloud Pak for data (CP4D)

• Knowledge and experience with DB2/SQL, FTP, Connect Direct

• Experience with mainframe languages/tools including COBOL, JCL, CA7

• Experience with Java and API development

• Experience with Rally

• Ford experience a plus) development with Oracle

• Experience with GCP data tools including Dataflow and BigQuery
