What is the job about?
The candidate should have expertise in “Water Utility Solutions” with deep knowledge in the business and uses a high degree of technical, application and automation insights to meet the customer requirements.
The main purpose of the role is to develop and deliver the highly complex or customised solutions, as defined in our water utility business plan and its vision, organised by customer needs and application expertise. He will be based out of Chennai India.
Your main responsibilities:
Design of Electrical drawings for control panels in Eplan electric and AutoCad for pumping application
Knowledge and designing capabilities of Engineering Documents like Functional Design Specifications, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Power and Control Wiring Diagrams, Cable Schedule, Terminal Plan etc.
Knowledge and designing capabilities of Instrumentation Engineering Documents like Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, Instrument Erection drawings etc.
Knowledge and designing capabilities of Software Engineering Documents like Input / Output List, Static Pictures and Dynamic Pictures etc. Software writing knowledge on Controllers / HMI.
To support & develop sales of controls & automation solutions with IOT in for various water utilities applications as per the market need.
Should have knowledge on Field testing and prototype testing process
Preparation of Technical documents (Manuals, brochures, design documents, etc.)
Providing operational support to the Verification of Product & Process Conformance (VPC) process.
Preparation of System Requirement Specifications for control and systems solutions
Your Background:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
In-depth knowledge of system design and application
Experience of 5 to 7 Years in automation & Controls, water utility application and product development
Proficient English – verbal and written
