Job Title: Office ClerkJob Description

As an Office Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal teams and serving as a point of contact for our external stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will include answering telephone calls, checking in and escorting visitors, and opening and distributing mail. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as word processing, data entry, maintaining files, and ordering supplies. You will also prepare and enter purchase orders into Oracle and Maximo Financials, track paid invoices, and interface with vendors. Providing excellent customer service, internally and externally, will be a key part of your role. This includes answering routine questions, providing information, resolving or researching issues, and providing follow-up. You will also maintain spreadsheets and databases, perform queries, compile data, and track expenses. Your role will involve reconciling corporate credit card statements and coordinating meetings, among other support duties.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Work Environment

This role will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our office environment. You will serve as a central point for information requests and distribution. Your responsibilities will include monitoring open and pending work orders and planning service center events and community volunteer events. You will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, sending invitations and reminders, arranging for refreshments and audio-visual equipment, and preparing agendas, documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
