Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Retail Manager based in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role is situated within the telecom provider industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of tasks ranging from payroll and timesheet processing to training and compliance. The work environment involves managing store operations, including stocking and task assignment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the store’s daily operations, including stocking and assigning tasks to staff.
• Work closely with the owner to develop and implement training programs for staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Handle payroll and timesheet processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Schedule staff shifts, taking into account the needs of the store and staff availability.
• Manage account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and billing processes to maintain financial health.
• Perform data entry tasks and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data and generate reports.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries and monitor customer credit accounts.
• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments and maintain accurate customer credit records.
Requirements
• Flexible schedule (evenings and weekends) is required
• Prior retail industry experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate strong ethical standards and integrity.
