University of Virginia Assistant / Associate Professor, Clinical Faculty - Otolaryngology in Charlottesville, Virginia

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for an open rank faculty position in our General Otolaryngology division. The successful candidate will provide patient care primarily at the Community Hospital in Charlottesville as well as some services at the UVA Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics. A strong interest in management of head and neck cancer patients is preferred. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications, experience and scholarly achievement.

The academic position in the department distinguishes this practice from other community practices with its state of the art office equipment, academic audiology support, new office space 2 minutes from the hospital, in-office OR set up, videostroboscopy with image and video capture capabilities, collaboration with academic faculty representing all subspecialties, CME accredited weekly grand rounds, access to the temporal bone, option to participate in Tumor Boards at UVA and the community hospital, opportunity to teach or participate in research if inclined, with the full support of a leading Otolaryngology department.
