Workers will plant berries with implements and by hand. Maintenance of plants will include irrigation, mulching, weeding,fertilizing, and pruning. Workers will pick, sort, and field pack berries. Workers will install season extension tools such as tunnels and floating row cover. Harvest will require workers to gently pull berries from the vines and place in flats as instructed. Only sound, acceptable quality berries are packed. Workers required to drive trucks and cars to move product and to drive to work in company car. Workers will follow safety rules and instructions.
Workers will follow GAP standards/rules that assure food safety as instructed which include hand washing, use of restrooms and handling of produce. Tools and supplies paid for by employer will be properly cared for. Drive farm truck and gator.
