Keurig Dr Pepper Senior Divisional Sales Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

The Senior Division Sales Manager is responsible for delivering the key performance indicators of volume, revenue, operating income, and share while developing team capabilities within the assigned geographic area specifically with Independent and Pepsi Bottlers aligned within the Independent and Pepsi Sales Organization (IPSO). The role leads a large sales team across a broad geography of strategic bottlers and distributors of KDPs total DSD portfolio. The IPSO Senior Division Manager will set the regional sales and marketing strategies from KDP commercial priorities and operate within assigned budgets.
The preferred location for this position is Charlotte, North Carolina. This position will oversee bottlers and distributors in states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The anchor bottlers for this position include The Ritchie Cheerwine Group South Georgia Beverage, and Carolina Canners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent assessment, development, and promotion within the IPSO and KDP organization
Coach and develop (5) Region Sales Managers and (3) Territory Managers team spanned across the Southeast
Responsible for delivering the key performance indicators of volume, revenue, operating income, and share
Manage 1) annual volume plan of 43MM EQ cases across CSD BC, CSD FG, Premium, and Partner brands 2) bottler relationships 3) operating expenses 4) several field budgets.
Negotiate business plans with the Bottler Leadership and instill the concept of Joint Business Planning targeting channel, segment, and retailer development.
Use analytical rigor and financial acumen to sell in new products to bottlers through effective plan development, support programs, and managing sales plans in conjunction with commercial priorities.
Represent the team in internal and external quarterly, semi-annual, and annual planning meetings, utilizing the network of business professionals supporting this desk (e.g. quarterly bottler/system network updates, semi-annual planning meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) and Joint Business Planning (JBP’s), and brand planning meetings annually.
Collaborate across internal functions to innovate processes, co-create tools, and enhance and maintain bottler and system network high functioning relationships
Requirements:
BS/BA (or equivalent)
Minimum 10 years of CPG progressive bottler distributor management and/or HQ retailer selling
Sales leadership experience including people management
DSD beverage experience with a bottler or distributor a plus
Minimum 2 years of cross-functional experience outside of Sales (e.g., Category Management, Revenue Growth Management)
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook
