Reporting to the Division Vice President, Operations. As a Senior Director of Operations, your essential job functions include:

Leadership / Strategic Initiatives (50%)

  • Create a positive and productive working environment consistent with Dent Wizard’s core values.

  • Communicate Dent Wizard’s vision and execute on company strategy.

  • As a member of the Division leadership team, provide input into the Division business strategy, with a specific focus on leading the Dealer/Rental business.

  • Deliver Vital Few objectives in partnership with enabling functions.

  • Deliver Dealer/Rental operating performance for the Division at or above budget in terms of Revenue, EBITDA, LSR, Customer Expansion, Customer Retention, Employee Engagement and Retention, Service Expansion and WTD.

  • Partner with enabling functions to drive operational efficiencies, standard operating procedures, and cost reductions.

  • Implement processes to track and maximize asset utilization to attain forecasted ROIs.

  • Drive a culture of coaching through on the job engagement and formalized training to support field operations effectiveness and the consistent development of people.

  • Participate in Succession Planning process to develop Operations Leaders.

  • Hire, develop and motivate operations leaders and technicians.

  • Maintain operations to meet Company provided guidelines regarding safety and compliance with Local, State, and Federal ordinances, including OHSA and EPA.

  • Build pipeline and lead operational diligence for acquisitions to ensure smooth integration and delivery of financial expectations.

  • Participate in field town hall communications.

    Customer Engagement (30%)

  • Partner with the Sales team to:

  • Lead Team Sell and drive revenue, customer expansion, customer retention and five-star service.

  • Support the execution of the division customer development plan.

  • Develop strong relationships with key customers.

  • Drive continuous expansion of DW services across the Dealer/Rental business.

  • Provide lead generation and drive integrations for potential acquisitions.

  • Deliver targeted price increase, in partnership with sales based on customer segmentation.

  • Participate in and support the fulfillment of WTD/FLF+ strategic initiatives across the Dealer/Rental business.

    Ops Administration (15%)

  • Lead the Goal Setting & Review (GS&R) process for the Dealer/Rental team.

  • Lead a monthly financial review for each Territory and develop and implement plans to deliver annual operating budgets.

  • Lead Q Process for the Dealer/Rental team to ensure complete participation and drive Vital Few initiatives and MITs.

  • Support and adhere to DW’s policies and procedures on ethics standards and commitments.

  • Provide timely feedback to DVP, Ops and senior team as to market conditions, competitive pressures, and the engagement of staff at all levels.

    Staffing (5%)

  • Own the balancing of staffing decisions to trade off gross margin vs. new business capacity.

  • Recommend appropriate staffing levels and/or business solutions to reach desired goals.

  • Ensure leaders have the skills to and are effectively hiring strong talent.

    Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience required.

  • 5 years proven operations experience in a similar type of environment.

  • Auto and reconditioning industry experience preferred.

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.

  • Travel as necessary (up to 75%).
