Insight Global Senior Accounting Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for a large wholesale insurance client in Charlotte, NC. This role will be HYBRID (3-days in, 2 -days out) and will sit in the South Park location. This individual will be responsible for supporting the companys Finance Team by performing monthly variance analysis, support with the annual budget process, aid in interim and annual audits, and assist with designing streamlined processes. This position will support major accounting functions through general journal entry processing, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and will communicate regularly with both internal and external stakeholders.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Assisting in the companys month-end close process
Posting journal entries and maintaining all supporting documents
Prepare and review account reconciliations
Mentor other accounting staff
Ensure all appropriate documentation with internal control structure
Prepare various account reconciliations and amortization schedules

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree (preferred in Accounting or Finance)
4 years of accounting or related experience
Extensive knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
Prior leadership responsibilities Great Plains/Management Report experience null
