Robert Half Part-time Accounting Clerk in Charlotte, North Carolina
Description
We are seeking a Part-time Accounting Clerk to join our team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves managing the financial records of our organization by processing transactions, updating statements, and checking financial records for accuracy. You will be responsible for tasks such as account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments
• Write checks ensuring bills are paid and are correctly entered into Quickbooks
• Manage approximately 100 checks a month for personal accounts
• Ensure utility bills are paid through bill pay and check them each month
• Handle account reconciliation tasks
• Process invoices using Oracle and Quickbooks Online
• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and other related tasks
• Manage bill payments using relevant skills and tools such as Quickbooks Online and Bill Pay.
Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing and Data Entry required
• Skilled in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Familiarity with Oracle software
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online is essential
• Experience with Bill Pay is a must
• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar position
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
