Company Overview: Our organization partners with public sector entities to deliver innovative and secure technology solutions. We are currently seeking a Jr-Mid Level Audio Visual Technician to assist in upgrading devices and setting up conference rooms utilizing state-of-the-art AV technology.

Position Overview: The Jr-Mid Level Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for upgrading AV devices and setting up conference rooms to enhance video conferencing capabilities. This role involves working with advanced technologies, including the VIA Connect2 smart secure wireless collaboration platform and Crestron systems. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in AV installations and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade AV devices and equipment to ensure compatibility with modern video conferencing technologies.

  • Set up and configure conference rooms for optimal video conferencing experiences using VIA Connect2 and Crestron systems.

  • Install, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, and control systems.

  • Ensure all AV systems are integrated seamlessly with existing IT infrastructure and meet user requirements.

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on AV system operation and functionality.

  • Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to coordinate installations and upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, installations, and support activities.

  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the AV field.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in audio visual technology installation, configuration, and support.

  • Hands-on experience with VIA Connect2, Crestron systems, and other AV technologies.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to lift and transport AV equipment as needed.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
