Eaton Corporation Business Analytics Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
Eaton’s Electrical Sector ARS division is seeking a Business Analytics Manager. This position will be based in Charlotte, NC, Asheville, NC or Moon Township, PA on a hybrid schedule. The position will require the employee to travel up to 15% of the year.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Business Analytics Manager will lead the strategy, development, and execution of data analytics platforms and market research to meet business objectives and drive profitable growth of the Assemblies & Residential Solutions (ARS) business. This individual will consult with business stakeholders to understand how they inform decisions for their teams and lead the development of solutions to fulfill analytical, reporting, and operational data needs across these teams.
In this function you will:
• Lead strategy, development, and execution of the business analytics roadmap enabling the strategic use of data by empowering decision-making across the organization with self-service data analytics and market research and intelligence reports.
• Participate in strategic planning for the Assemblies & Residential Solutions (ARS) business and develop market understanding of emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
• Lead a team of direct and indirect analytics professionals, developing talent and aligning capabilities to support organizational strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key business metrics, reduce stakeholder effort, and drive actional insights for the business.
• Be able to interpret large and complex data with the ability to tell a compelling story from the data.
• Expand the suite of advanced/elite analytics dashboards (e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Python, R) to create additional value for key stakeholders where none existed before.
• Develop a strong understanding of Eaton’s data transformation activities. Lead the inclusion of stakeholder responsibility in the deployment and absorption of Eaton’s enterprise data mesh strategy and migration of ERP systems.
• Constantly evolve and develop understanding of ARS stakeholder personas (e.g. Business Unit Managers, Pricing Teams, Customer Experience Teams, Executive Leadership) and an understanding of business challenges to drive key results.
• Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders outside of the business including IT, Data Engineering, Data Science teams, and other Data Analytics Teams within Eaton.
• Monitor and report on the performance of initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Focus on operationalizing the function and driving enhancements to current work management processes, streamlining user story intake, prioritization of projects, and resource allocation.
• Drive stakeholder adoption through ongoing trainings, program updates, and user requirement workshops.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization
Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution
Experience with Excel, Knime, R, and SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
Experience in data analysis, data modeling, data visualization, and leading a development team
Experience in electrical industry
