In this role, you will:
Supervise coordinators in performance of less complex tasks and processes to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance of assigned work
Identify opportunities for process improvement, risk management, and control opportunities
Make day-to-day supervisory and tactical decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations under direction of senior management; leverage interpretation of existing policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for aligned department or business group
Be responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
1+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of mortgage credit underwriting experience
Experience reviewing lending decisions to ensure adherence to established procedures, policies, and guidelines
Experience monitoring performance mechanisms and providing coaching and development
Experience collaborating with teams and other departments to resolve credit issues
Experience identifying opportunities and provide guidance on strategies, operations, and financial management for the purpose of process improvement
Knowledge and understanding of how to leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, or guidelines for the business group
Experience collaborating and consulting with immediate Business Administration colleagues and management with the ability to recommend strategies to implement changes and process improvements
Experience interacting directly with external parties to influence, optimize, and negotiate on business operations related to Strategy and Execution
