Job Title: Automation Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with a focus on high-speed automated equipment. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment to specifications, assisting the engineering team on new installations, and performing hands-on work to help set up the lines. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting inputs and outputs within the PLC system and assisting with preventative maintenance of the equipment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to specifications.
Assist the engineering team with new installations and setup of lines.
Perform hands-on work required for setting up high-speed packaging lines.
Troubleshoot inputs and outputs within the PLC system.
Assist with preventative maintenance of equipment.
Conduct diagnostic work with sensors for new installations.
Essential Skills
Experience with Allen-Bradley systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
Knowledge of robotics and automated equipment maintenance.
Skills in preventive maintenance.
Experience with PLC programming.
Mechanically inclined with a strong ability to perform hands-on tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity or experience with PLC and robotic control systems is beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
