Our continually growing client base gives us opportunities to work on diverse, fast-paced projects. We are seeking a Special Inspections Manager to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.
As the Special Inspections Manager , you will help to grow our Construction Services area by developing and maintaining client relationships, incrementally grow and diversify the business by managing the scope, budgets and quality of construction management projects.
Responsibilities:
Operational management of a branch office
Development and implementation of the construction quality control programs
Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation
Recruitment and development of professional, technical, and administrative personnel
Client maintenance
Project management and Profit & Loss responsibility
Supporting invoicing and collections
Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies
Subconsultant management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or in Construction Management
Experience with Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing services preferred
Highly organized, self-motived individual with proven leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices preferred
