Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

Join a high-profile, long-term project as a crucial part of the quality assurance/quality control team at Arlington National Cemetery. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Additionally, you will observe and record concrete pouring, placement, and curing procedures. Preparing field reports and assisting with laboratory testing are also key components of this role. Daily interaction with clients and team members, as well as other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor, will be part of your responsibilities.

Hard Skills

  • Testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry and asphalt

  • Preparing field reports

  • Assisting with laboratory testing

  • WACEL - ACI - VDOT certifications

Soft Skills

  • Observing and recording procedures

  • Daily interaction with clients and team members

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chantilly and Arlington, Virginia.
