SAIC Chief Systems Engineer in CHANTILLY, Virginia
Description
SAIC is seeking a highly experienced Chief Space Systems Engineer to support spacecraft development in Chantilly, VA.
Leads technical team overseeing requirements development, systems engineering, and Assembly, Integration & Test
Directly supports government space vehicle division lead
Coordinates reviews of system integration efforts of complex space, ground, and launch systems
Manage and negotiate interface control documents with external stakeholders
Oversees requirements verification and validation
Makes program risks assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the government customer
Independently collaborates with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and developer counterparts
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience or
an additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of degree
Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination
Experience with space systems development, integration, and/or operations of DoD, NRO, or NASA systems
Experience leading systems engineering teams focused on integration of complex space and/or ground systems
