Robert Half Payroll Manager in Cerritos, California
Description
Robert Half is recruiting a strong Payroll Manager/ Consultant with our Manufacturing client in the Cerritos, CA area to help with a leave of absence. The consultant will be responsible for in-house payroll processing for approximately 700 employees over 3 locations on a bi-weekly basis. This includes full cycle payroll, including garnishments and payroll taxes. Knowledge of FSA and 401K audits is needed. The consultant must have recent Ceridian Dayforce experience. This consulting opportunity will be located onsite in Cerritos, CA.
Technical Skills:
-Deep knowledge of the entire payroll process
-Recent Knowledge or Ceridian Dayforce ( must have)
-Payroll tax filing - Form 941
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail
Able to communicate at various levels within the organization
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Payroll Manager role within the manufacturing industry ( industry preferred)
• Proficiency in using Ceridian Dayforce Payroll System
• Experience with Benefit Functions related to payroll
• Ceridian Dayforce software ( must have)
• Demonstrated experience in Full Cycle Payroll management
• Deep understanding of Payroll Taxes and legalities
• Proficiency in Garnishment Calculations
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
