Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Employee will be setting up CNC Mills along with editing programs. The role involves working in a job shop environment with frequent changeovers due to short runs of 3 to 20 parts. The machines are Fanuc controlled (G&M codes, NOT conversational). A significant portion of the work requires threading and grooving, utilizing Doosan and Mori Seiki machines. Familiarity with these machines is a big plus.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC Mills and edit programs.
Conduct frequent changeovers for short runs of 3 to 20 parts.
Perform threading and grooving tasks.
Work with Fanuc controlled machines using G&M codes.
Inspect own parts using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.
Essential Skills
1 year of recent experience with CNC Mill setup and programming.
1 year of threading and grooving experience.
Stable work history.
Comfortable with handling large parts.
1 year of experience using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-year degree in a relevant field (training provided for entry-level candidates).
Comfortable working on a Manual CNC with 6 months of experience (preferred but not required).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
