Job Summary

This role is responsible for process management of the consolidation of financial services, including planning, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis for Dominion Energy South Carolina (DESC). Consolidation includes the bridging of the South Carolina generation, transmission and distribution, nuclear, and gas business plans to produce an overall corporate DESC 7+ year plan. Successful candidates should be conversant in all aspects of DESC financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flows) and be able to strategically analyze the current plan and incremental opportunities with respect to optimizing O&M, capital, cash position, and profitability. Successful candidates will provide partnership and liaise with multiple groups including but not limited to: sales and revenue, regulatory, investor relations, and accounting/tax groups

Responsibilities include:

• Manages annual and long-term financial planning process.

• Manages monthly forecasting and reporting process.

• Provides leadership on financial analysis and overall financial function.

• Ensures that capital projects are evaluated with an emphasis on understanding capital needs as it relates to the strategic direction of the business.

• Provides proactive executive support to include presentations and strategic support.

• Analyzes capital projects and provides leadership oversight of financial analysis process.

• Understands and incorporates accounting changes into financial forecasts.

• Manages operational review process.

• Manages service agreement process with other Dominion business units.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

At least 8 years of demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, or related operational roles inclusive of full-time work experience, internships, externships, or other demonstrated expertise.

• Preferred experience in financial management and analysis, accounting standards and practices, cost allocation, budgeting.

• Preferred experience managing financial and accounting processes.

• Preferred experience working within the financial framework of a regulated utility

• Developing management presentations and evaluating business decisions.

• Demonstrates ability to work independently with limited local supervision.

• Proven leadership, effective communication, organization and interpersonal, finance and accounting.

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred experience in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Anaplan.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Master
