Bank of Greene County E-Communications and Marketing Associate in Catskill, New York

POSITION SUMMARY:The position of the E-Communications and Marketing Associate is responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing, reporting, and communication strategies using electronic media. Develops creative ideas to market our products and initiatives to build our Bank’s brand. Manages the Bank’s social media presence on various social channels. Provides general administrative support to the Marketing team, including helping to coordinate special events, presentations, and business meetings.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or related field is desired but not required.· Proficient in Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint presentation software.· Proficient in graphic software such as Photoshop or Canva.· Proficient using social media including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.· Proficient utilizing electronic communication channels including but not limited to online survey development and email blasts.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently.· Takes initiative, organizes multiple tasks within required deadlines, and detail-oriented.· HTML, basic coding knowledge, and experience with SEO preferred.· Understanding of Bank policies and procedures preferred but not required. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:· Coordinate, update, and maintain the Bank’s website for content, accuracy, and functionality.· Research, draft content, schedule and monitor social media posts. · Develop and implement online marketing strategies including e-mails and social media, in conjunction with marketing and business development.· Help develop advertising messages for electronic and digital media. · Assist with and help coordinate internal and external Bank events.· Assist with online account opening strategies for Bank products and services.· Assist with creation of monthly Bank newsletters.· Assist with the Bank’s Charitable Foundation grant requests and awards.· Assist the Marketing Team with purchasing and promotional projects.· Provide reports needed for scheduled period endings.· Keep up with marketing issues, trends, and developments in the financial industry.· Assist with preparation for and participation at various internal and external Bank events.· Understands and serves as a backup for the Loyalty/GreeneRewards program.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employees are expected to meet all compliance requirements as stated within the Bank’s BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC Program. Failure to meet these compliance standards may adversely affect performance appraisals and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Employee’s compliance violations may result in termination, individual fines, and possible imprisonment.

Minimum Salary: 40,000 Maximum Salary: 45,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
