Position Details: Job Title: File transfer Engineer / File Transfer Admin Location: 100% Remote role Duration: 12 months contract with possible conversion to FT. Job Description: The file transfer engineer will join the Global File Services-Engineering group which manages the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company to transfer file internally and externally. The file transfer engineer main responsibilities will be as follows: Enhancement of the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company with the addition of file scanning capabilities. Lead the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems. Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating coding, testing, change implementation and documentation. This team managed Global team for File Transfer which are used by the team to share profiles internally and externally Team is responsible for defining technology roadmap for this platform, designing and deploying, production support, enhancements, etc. Responsible for vulnerability management and patching activities Currently enhancing IBM Sterling File Gateway Suite Team has products like Sterling File Gateway Suite, Sterling Connect Direct & Opentext BizManager - Need 1 candidate per each skill Scripting exp needed - Shell, Python, etc. Windows & Linux exp needed Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
