About The Job
The Business Systems Analyst works within the IT Solutions Consulting team, which is part of the Enterprise Business Systems team. The Enterprise Business Systems team’s goal in the company is to enable internal teams to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively using enterprise applications and data. This is a techno-functional role that will be instrumental in designing and extending SaaS applications that serve internal departments. To accomplish that you must form a business partnership with your assigned area, understand their end-to-end processes and functionality needs to then design end-to-end systems solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Help drive SaaS system implementations for the services, support & customer success functions (e.g. CRM, Service Desk & Knowledgebase, Omni-Channel Support, Experience Cloud (Community), Customer Success Automation, Professional Services Automation, etc.)
Research system functionality of existing SaaS software (e.g. Salesforce Service Cloud, (SFDC), Certinia PSA, SFDC Experience Cloud)
Assisting with backlog definition and prioritization by partnering with internal departments to understand the needs of the business.
Building prototypes in sandboxes through a mix of configuration and UI-based automations
Analyzing data to inform systems functionality needs
Creating documentation on new system functionality
Resolution of L2/L3 tickets
Contribute to identifying scalable solutions in existing systems and/or implementing new systems
Performing QA testing
What You Need:
3 years + experience implementing / configuring SaaS applications (CRM, PSA, CSM etc.)
2 years + experience as a systems analyst or systems administration
Hands on experience building SFDC Flows
Critical thinking to design end-to-end solutions to meet the needs of the business that are scalable for IT
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Lots of curiosity and a drive to solve problems through technology
Strong sense of ownership to figure things out
Detail orientated with the ability to understand both the user problem and technical solution
Ability to document the business case and requirements
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with business analysts and vendors to document possible solutions
Strong documentation etiquette to clearly define both the problem and the solution
Outstanding customer service skills and proven multitasking capabilities
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise systems such as CRM’s with a preference for demonstrated experience in SFDC Experience Cloud (Community), Certinia PSA or similar
Ability to design and document well thought out and sustainable system solutions that follow Salesforce best practices
Ability to build configure Salesforce platform and build low-code automations
Ticket management software such as Jira, ServiceNow, FreshService a must
Salesforce Lightning components experience a plus
SQL and/or Apex experience a plus
