MetLife Director - HR Planning and Enablement in Cary, North Carolina

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sr. HRBP for Global Technology and Operations, the Director of HR Planning and Enablement serves as a strategic partner supporting key initiatives and priorities. The ideal candidate is an analytical and strategic thinker with an understanding of organizational effectiveness strategies and demonstrated expertise in change management and project management. This leader will utilize analytical insights, demonstrate critical thinking and provide thought leadership to deliver impactful outcomes in a dynamic work environment. In addition to the GTO HR community, the individual will interact closely with HR CoE partners and senior leaders across the business to provide forward-thinking support and solutions.

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities):

HR Planning and Enablement

  • Support GTO HR in strategic planning process, aligning initiatives with organizational priorities and industry trends.

  • Design frameworks and develop processes to ensure alignment and execution with functional priorities.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational tools, strategies, and priorities to inform initiatives and enable outcomes.

Change Management & Program Leadership

  • Lead design and execution of change management strategies to support awareness and effective implementation of HR initiatives.

  • Provide executive communication support, including creating high-impact presentations, talking points, and reports.

  • Use data and insights to understand trends, uncover issues and support decision-making.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications):

· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant HR experience

· Excellent communication, presentation skills (written and verbal)

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful change management strategies

· Strong relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills

· Strong project management skills, managing multiple priorities and agility to pivot as needed

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· A natural problem-solver, motivated by achieving goals and working through challenges
