Position Summary As part of the North Carolina State Health Plan team, will focus on account management and retention metrics in support of business objectives. Supports strategic business plan and client relationships, focusing on revenue growth, member retention, and achievement of financial objectives. What you will do

  • Activates account plan and strategy to maximize NCSHP satisfaction, retention, member orientation/education and engagement.

  • Analyzes client data, performance metrics, and market trends to identify areas of opportunity and improvement.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with NCSHP and NC Stakeholders acting as a member of the Account Team and point of contact.

  • With Lead Director and Senior Manager of Account Management, plans and conducts regular meetings to understand NCSHP goals, provide updates, and address any concerns of the NCSHP.

  • Coordinates benefit as well as contract reviews, negotiations, and documentation.

  • Communicates with internal teams to ensure NCSHP satisfaction and facilitate prompt resolution of any issues or challenges.

  • Assist with communication strategy of benefits and services to plan members, employing units, and key stakeholders across the state of NC.

  • Assists team with Open Enrollment strategy, attending all Open Enrollment events across the state.

  • Assists team members with tasks, timelines, and deliverables, including collaborating on projects, sharing information, and ensuring effective communication within the team.

  • Actively contributes to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects, including sharing ideas, providing feedback, and contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the team.

    Required Qualifications - 2-5 years Insurance or customer service experience.

    • Client relationship experience- Proficient in all Microsoft products

    • Must commute to Cary, NC office

    • NC Life and Health License or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

    • Strong Presentation skills Preferred Qualifications - NC Life and Health License

    • Health Insurance Industry experience

    • Project Management experience

    • Strong understanding of health plan market Education

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $85,100.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
