Our team is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in Cary, IL for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time onsite position, that will be supporting a caseload of Junior High School students, grades 6th-8th. The role primarily involves serving general education students, with one day a week dedicated to the Teaching Life Skills (TLC) program to provide additional support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monday-Friday, from approximately 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (staff hours 8:15 AM, student start time 8:45 AM).

  • Provide full-time speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6th-8th.

  • Collaborated with other educators and specialists.

  • Participate in problem-solving group meetings one day per week.

  • Consult with other staff members at the beginning of the day to ensure coordinated support for students.

  • Deliver a combination of push-in and pull-out services, conduct assessments, and manage an assessment block.

  • Conduct multiple group therapy sessions throughout the day.

  • Complete necessary documentation and paperwork, utilizing Infinite Campus for IEPs.

  • Attend staff meetings once or twice per month after work.

  • Participate in professional development activities during early release half-days.

  • Collaborate with other SLPs in the district every 6-8 weeks for team discussions and shared learning.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $58,000-$67,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

  • Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (IDFPR and PEL required).

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
