Our client, a small but thriving CPA office in Carson City, is looking for a temporary to hire Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. Responsibilities:
Manage full-charge bookkeeping duties for 80+ clients across a wide range of industries, with an increase to 100 clients during tax season.
Perform data entry, coding, and maintenance of the general ledger to ensure accuracy and cleanliness of accounts.
Review and analyze balance sheets and profit-and-loss (P& L) statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies with ease.
Enter journal entries and collaborate with the CPA for more complex entries.
Process accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and bill entry for select clients as required.
Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all bookkeeping processes.
Assist in preparing financial reports and provide insights on potential anomalies in client books.
Support the team during busy tax season and adapt to fluctuating client demands.

Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with other accounting software is a plus.
Ability to review and troubleshoot balance sheets and P& L statements for accuracy.
Experience managing A/P and A/R functions.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple client accounts.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
Comfort working in an informal setting with animal companions.
