The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.
CNO Financial has a Sr. Business Analyst, Commission Analyst position available. The Senior Business Analyst, Commission Analysis & Reporting, is a critical support function at Bankers Life, a subsidiary of CNO Financial Group, Inc. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-quality reporting and data analytics on insurance sales and commissions. This role involves generating reports for field use, aiding management decisions, and ensuring SOX compliance. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will research and respond to field compensation inquiries and review the work of peers on the team. This position plays a vital role in providing reporting and analysis to the organization and will collaborate closely with senior leadership within Consumer Finance.
As a Sr. Business Analyst, Commissions Analysis & Reporting, your responsibilities will include:
Report on field management and compensation.
Maintain and report on manager compensation and subsidy.
Maintain and enhance the submitted and issued policy reports on outside carrier business sold by Bankers Life agents.
Assist in improving continuous processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and design of reporting.
Maintain and update compensation matrices.
Establish relationships with internal and external sales partners to maintain an open dialogue and discuss critical issues.
Assist in answering field inquiries regarding 3rd party/outside carrier compensation and reports.
Update commission rates for new products and product enhancements.
Stay informed of CMS rules regarding compensation on Medicare plans.
Review work of business analysts on the team.
Prepare various ad-hoc analyses as needed.
The Sr. Business Analyst, Commissions Analysis & Reporting, position is well suited for you if you:
Experience using Alteryx and SQL skills preferred.
Exhibit analytical and independent critical thinking skills.
Demonstrate communication skills in presenting complex, fact-based analyses.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Leverage background in Life & Health Insurance and/or experience with an agent sales force.
Influence without authority while leading projects effectively.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline or 8 years of equivalent work experience.
5 years of related work experience.
Alteryx and SQL preferred.
What will set you apart:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting with 6 or more years of related work experience.
Certifications/Licenses in Alteryx and SQL skills required.
