Be part of the nation-s only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste.

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as aCCP Training Coordinatorand join our team to support our government customer in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the administrative aspects of the CCP Training and Qualification Program. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and a passion for employee development.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with instructors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as necessary, in support of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) phases of new or revised training products.

  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, examinations, and interviews.

  • Support preparation, review, approval of training products.

  • Issue and track training qualifications and completions, and record training outcomes.

  • Maintain training records in accordance with Records Management Program requirements.

  • Interface with CCP staff around the Department of Energy (DOE) complex to process training records.

Non-Exempt Salary Grade (24-28)

Minimum Requirements:These requirements must be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and completed applications are the means of determination.

  • Associate-s Degree with two (2) years of professional experience, or

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency with four (4) years of professional experience is required.

Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCP, DOE, or WIPP experience

  • DOE Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) or ADDIE experience

  • Learning Management System (LMS) or training systems of record

Minimum salary $52,255 per year of a larger salary range --the specific salary offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, particularly the candidate-s relevant experience and education.
