Overview: The Senior Business Analyst performs complex analysis of business goals, objectives, and needs of the general business environment and makes recommendations for improvements in operations, management, and budget. This position conceptualizes business needs, analyzes and documents requirements, and partners with internal stakeholders to implement solutions from both the business and technical points of view. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, decision makers, and other business users to identify and understand the problems and areas requiring optimization, including desired enhancements or modifications to gather and document requirements for proposed solutions/systems functionality. Analyzes the current system or application, conceptualizes and define operational problems, models and presents recommended enhancements and modifications; develops, documents, and maintains system processes and procedures. Assists with project planning by ensuring expectations are clearly stated, communicated, and documented in terms required for completion. Provides input into project management concerning the impacts and risks of requirements gathered. Collaborates with the business and development teams on a variety of items including, but not limited to, creating testing plans, system execution. and production defect management. Participates in the final implementation and integration of solutions by monitoring project progress, tracking development and implementation activities, resolving operational problems, and publishing progress reports. Maintains compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures, and mission statement. Adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position. Fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer. Job Requirements: Minimum four (4) years of experience in a business analyst role or equivalent. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with requirements gathering, process, system and data analysis, and solution definition with a customer focus in mind. Ability to identify opportunities for automation and solid understanding of technology capabilities. Knowledge of data relationships and ability to write intermediate to complex SQL statements. Familiarity with how data can flow between systems via integrations/APIs/ETL tools. Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or the agile development methodology. Prior experience using and/or developing Accounting/Finance systems in the healthcare industry and understanding of healthcare transactions preferred. Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics GP and Oracle Fusion preferred. VBA script development or other programming experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or similar degree required; or five (5) years of experience in a business analyst or related role. Physical Demands and ork Environment: Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time). Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force. Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions. Subject to inside environmental conditions. Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Base Compensation Range $90,600---$120,000 USD
