Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are currently seeking General Laborers for both our 1st and 2nd shifts. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic and be comfortable with heavy lifting and labor-intensive tasks. Daily responsibilities may include hand stacking bags of concrete, operating a forklift, feeding robots with pallets, ensuring there are no jams on the lines, and maintaining the cleanliness of the work environment. While initially, everyone starts on the hand stack line, roles are rotated to avoid monotony and over-exertion. As such, you might find yourself filling, sealing, operating a forklift, or stacking. The ability to learn new tasks, such as operating the wrapper machine, is crucial. Night shift tasks primarily involve bagging and ensuring no jams on the line.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Canaan, Connecticut.
Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing setting, which is not climate-controlled. It can be hot in the summer and can get dirty due to the nature of the work, as we are bagging dry concrete. Steel-toed shoes are necessary, and additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided on site as needed.
