DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Psychologist Manager for SCI Camp Hill, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the psychological services program for the institution. Your coordination with other disciplines, policy development, and leadership of the population Psychiatric Review Team will have a significant impact on the institution's operations. Your participation as a standing member of the Clinical Review Team for suicides and attempted suicides will be a key part of our comprehensive approach to inmate care. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment; 37.5-hour work week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist; or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.
Special Requirements: You must have possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
