We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Project Manager - Field Services for our facility in Cambridge, Ontario.

Are you ready to take your project management career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as an Intermediate Program/Project Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead small and medium-sized projects within our existing product lines, ensuring successful contract execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall technical, cost, and schedule requirements on assigned contracts, ensuring Company’s resources are properly directed for satisfactory contract execution.

  • Lead teams comprised of engineering, project engineering, project planners/cost estimators, QA/QC, and field operations at nuclear utilities.

  • Provide effective leadership through communicating expectations and instilling accountability within the project team.

  • Interface with customers to ensure that contract requirements are met, including cost/schedule reporting, multi-phase design reviews, and other engineering deliverables.

  • Develop growth opportunities in Field Service business line and identify areas for improvement.

  • Take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with technical specifications and schedule commitments.

  • Develop proposals for Field Service projects and lead technical and commercial negotiations with customers.

  • Coordinate subcontracting efforts to ensure that outsourced work scopes meet all technical requirements.

  • Lead negotiation on routine contract changes and resolve any technical and/or commercial issues with customers and subcontractors.

  • Act as the single point of contact for customer questions, technical issues, and reporting throughout all project phases.

    What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • 5-10 years of project management experience, preferably in the nuclear industry.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead teams and communicate expectations clearly.

  • Experience in contract management and negotiation.

  • Willingness to travel and work in the field as required, at remote customer sites, often for continuous durations of up to 3 months.

    The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[78,000]] and $[[121,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
