This position will provide occupational therapy on child and adolescent inpatient behavioral health units as well as the recently opened Neurodevelopmental Unit. These units are located in our brand-new state of the art location at the Somerville Hospital.
Job Purpose:In accordance with Cambridge Health Alliance policies and procedures, and the AOTA guidelines and code of ethics, this employee completes OT evaluations in inpatient behavioral health units. In addition, the employee provides OT treatments as well as OT group programming in the inpatient setting. This employee is a member of a large interdisciplinary team serving a diverse population.
Qualifications/Requirements: Inpatient child/adolescent behavioral health desired, BS/MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy, current MA OT licensure, AHA BLS certification; new grads considered
