Robert Half Database Administrator in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Description Robert Half's Client is in search of a Database Administrator based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, for a 1-2 month contract opportunity. The role involves managing and ensuring the integrity of databases, with a focus on Raiser’s Edge database management, especially in the context of fundraising software.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the performance, integrity, and security of the database. • Implementing and managing Raiser’s Edge database system used for fundraising activities. • Utilizing data querying tools for managing large data sets efficiently. • Regularly updating and maintaining accurate records in the database. • Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and confidentiality across all database operations. • Utilizing Microsoft Office tools, particularly advanced Excel and Word skills for database management. • Implementing measures to achieve work goals independently and efficiently. • Developing proposals, detail oriented reports, strategic plans, and correspondence related to database administration. • Leveraging social media platforms effectively and measuring analytics for fundraising activities. • Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and other technology tools for correspondence, advancement tools, presentations, special reports, spreadsheets, databases, forms, etc. • Managing fund reporting using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and other related tools. Requirements • Previous experience as a Database Administrator for at least 3 years

• Proficient in using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

• In-depth understanding of Database Management and Administration

• Excellent data entry skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience in Fund reporting

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
