The Job:
AVEVA is seeking a dynamic Director of Global Commercial Intelligence to spearhead the development and execution of a robust global commercial reporting and analytics strategy. We’re looking for a visionary leader who can architect scalable solutions and transform data into actionable insights to drive business performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to expand our analytical capability and intelligence for business insight generation
Define and execute strategy for Sales Intelligence Management
Champion the adoption of PowerBI as our analytics platform, ensuring it serves as the central hub for commercial decision-making
Leverage SFDC and ADF data infrastructure to deliver actionable insights that support our global business cadence, ensuring one version of the truth
Oversee the creation of innovative reports, dashboards, visualisations, and models to measure KPIs and inform decision-making
Proactively identify opportunities for processes enhancement and corrective action based on intelligence findings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and data intelligence team to uphold exceptional data quality standards
Enable stakeholders on the value of data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity
Background in data management and analytics, particularly in dynamic, technology-driven environments
Passion for exploring and interpreting large datasets to uncover meaningful insights
Expertise in leading-edge visualisation tools like Microsoft PowerBI, CRM Analytics, Tableau, QLIK etc.
Track record of driving data quality and process enhancements
Blend of hands-on analytics and strategic data infrastructure experience
Demonstrated success in building and nurturing high performance teams
