Richard Heath & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and talented professional for the following opportunity:
Senior Energy Engineer
Full-time, Exempt
As a senior technical person in the company, you will be a strategic and tactical partner in the design, implementation, management and evaluation of energy efficiency, demand response, decarbonization projects/programs and clean energy technologies. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge of building energy efficiency, DR and carbon reduction strategies. The role requires you to reside in California but can be done remote.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience
Seven years of experience in the residential and/or commercial construction, energy efficiency, or in a relevant engineering field
Two years of experience as a technical lead in projects or programs
Two years of proven success in technical writing
In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial construction materials and techniques with an emphasis on building energy performance
Exposure to commercial and/or residential energy auditing practices, tools and protocols
Carbon markets, decarbonization strategies, renewable energy systems, energy storage systems literacy
Computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
In-depth knowledge of Statewide and/or National building codes and environmental standards
Articulate written and oral communication skills
Salary Range:
$115,000 - $130,000, DOE
