Job Title: Maintenance/Sanitation
Job Description
This role involves maintenance and cleaning duties within a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include fixing items like tightening bolts on equipment, performing minor forklift/power jack maintenance, refilling batteries using the proper watering system, changing filters, conducting small repairs, painting, doing basic plumbing repairs, changing light bulbs, operating a scissor lift, and maintaining the basic cleanliness of the warehouse. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with some weekends required, from 8am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections of the warehouse facility to identify maintenance needs and repair issues.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility.
Repair or replace damaged equipment, fixtures, and fittings as required.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, adhering to established reporting structures.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility as required.
Essential Skills
1 year of experience in a maintenance role in a warehouse or production facility.
1 year of experience in cleaning/sanitizing.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to use tools and be trained to understand basic maintenance.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage equipment and people.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Operate a scissor lift and not scared of heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in produce.
AWP/Fall Arrest certified.
Experience doing maintenance with food production machines.
Preventative maintenance experience in a warehouse or production site.

Work Environment
The team size ranges from 20-70 staff members, including shipper receivers, general labor/production workers, QC, and picker/packers. The work shift is Monday to Friday with some weekends required, from 8am to 4:30pm. The dress attire is casual, with steel-toed boots and a safety vest required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
