We have an exciting opportunity for a Focused Improvement Specialist and HSE Partner at our Burnie site. Cadbury has been Tasmanian made for nearly 100 years, and to this day 48 dairy farms in Tasmania’s north-west proudly supply the glass and a half in every block.

Claremont is the largest Cadbury factory in Australia and Southern Hemisphere. Recently celebrating 100 years in production, the site delivers approx. 200 million blocks, and 60,000 tonnes of chocolate annually, including other iconic products like Cadbury Freddo, Twirl and Caramello Koala to name a few! We source over 110 million litres of fresh milk from around 48 Tasmanian dairy farms in the Burnie region annually and 100% of the cocoa used across all Cadbury chocolate we make is sustainably sourced.

How you will contribute

You will ensure adherence to the cost management agenda outlined in the Mondelez Burnie Operation contract, meeting budget targets and emphasizing cost-conscious purchasing. You will drive delivery targets, striving for 95% output according to production plans, optimizing efficiency, flexibility, and resource availability. You will maintain rigorous environmental health and safety standards, including GMP, audits, HACCP plans, and waste reduction initiatives, while promoting a culture of compliance and safety awareness throughout the site. In addition, you will coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • Qualifications in Science, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related disciplines.

  • Relevant experience within food or beverage manufacturing. Diary industry experience is highly advantageous.

  • Working efficiently in a team

  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet customer/business requirements.

  • Production Planning, Scheduling and stock ordering against requirements using SAP.

  • Working with our farmers to ensure compliance to our policies and procedures and technical vendors to support compliance.

  • Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing

  • Project management and working on multiple activities at the same time.

  • Adept with MS office applications
